Reading.
Do I need an account to read?
You'll need a free reader account to read beyond the public preview. It includes up to two articles a day, plus saves and comments. Reader membership removes the daily cap. Open an article and choose Create a free account, or use Sign in in the top bar if you already have one.
How do I find something specific?
Use Search for anything, browse the full archive, or start from Guides if you want a structured series rather than a single piece.
Can I follow StormIt without another app?
Yes — the RSS feed carries everything we publish, and The Letter brings an editor-selected issue to your inbox when it is ready.

What is The Letter, exactly?
One handpicked piece, three small things, and a reading list — sent occasionally after an editor assembles the issue, free. Sign up at /letter.
How do I unsubscribe?
Every edition has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer. It works immediately, no questions asked.

How do I pitch an editorial piece?
Email writeyourstorm@stormit.ca with “Pitch” in the subject, or explore the writing invitations at Enter the Storm. Editorial consideration is separate from access to the paid writing studio.
I've already written the piece.
Email it to writeyourstorm@stormit.ca — paste it in or attach a document. No account needed; the team reads every submission.
How do I get the writing studio?
Writer Pro is currently invite-only. Request studio access and tell us what you want to make. Approval lets you choose the paid Writer Pro plan; it does not mean a piece has been accepted for editorial publication. Current features and prices are on Pricing.
Who owns what I write?
You do. Editorial contributors grant StormIt a publication licence under agreed terms rather than transferring copyright, and drafts in the studio remain yours. The plain-language terms are in the Writer Agreement.
