What's free, and what do I pay for?
A free Reader account includes up to 2 articles a day, saved articles, and comments. Reader is CAD $10/month and removes the daily cap while providing access to all currently available Reader tools and the full archive. Writer Pro is CAD $29/month and adds the writing studio and publishing workflow. Writer Pro access is approval-based, and publication remains subject to editorial review.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and there is no cancellation fee or penalty. You will normally keep access until the end of your current paid monthly billing period. Unused time in the current billing period is not prorated or refunded, except where required by applicable law.
How do I become a writer?
Writer Pro is invite-only for now. Request access and tell us what you want to create. If approved, you can subscribe to Writer Pro and use the writing studio. Writer Pro access does not guarantee publication. Publication on StormIt remains subject to editorial review and the Writer Agreement. Reading and Reader subscriptions are open to everyone.
Is StormIt available worldwide?
StormIt is available in countries where we can lawfully provide the Service and accept payment. All paid plans are priced and charged in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
Do you train your AI on my content?
StormIt does not use your drafts or prompts to train its own models. When you use an AI feature, relevant inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers under their applicable business or API data terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Does StormIt post directly to social platforms?
Writer Pro includes tools for preparing and submitting work for publication on StormIt. Publication on StormIt is subject to editorial review and approval. For Medium, LinkedIn, and X, the studio prepares platform-ready copy for you to review, copy, and publish yourself.
